July 11, 2008 | LISLE, IL The DuPage Dragons will team with the DuPage Convalescent Center Foundation (DPCCF) this Friday, July 11th, when they take on the Dubois Bombers at 7:05 pm at the Lisle Sports Complex at Benedictine University. For every $6 ticket purchased in advance, the Dragons will donate half of the proceeds to the Foundation. The DuPage Convalescent Center is a not-for-profit, fully licensed 24-hour long-term skilled nursing facility committed to providing long-term nursing and rehabilitation services to DuPage County residents. The DPCCF is a philanthropic organization serving residents of the DuPage Convalescent Center. Formed in 1993, the Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who raise funds to improve the quality of life for DuPage County residents needing long-term skilled nursing and rehabilitative care.
The Dragons begin a three-game weekend homestand when they take on the Bombers on Friday night. Tickets start at $6 with kids five and under admitted free. Group rates are available by calling the Dragons’ ticket office at 630-241-2255.
