Dragons Looking to A.D.O.P.T.

 
 
June 26, 2008 | LISLE, IL Join the DuPage Dragons this Friday, June 27th, as they support Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment (A.D.O.P.T.) when they take on the Danville Dans at 7:05 pm at the Lisle Sports Complex at Benedictine University.  For every $6 ticket purchased in advance, the Dragons will donate half of the proceeds to A.D.O.P.T.  Please visit the community section on the Dragons’ website (www.dupagedragons.com) and go to fundraising event section to download the ticket order form for the A.D.O.P.T. night.

A.D.O.P.T. (Animals Deserving of Proper Treatment), located in Naperville, IL, is a no-kill, non-profit, humane organization.  Their mission is the placement of animals into permanent caring homes and to advance humane treatment of animals through education.  Since opening on October 31, 1989, A.D.O.P.T. has found homes for over 20,000 pets, finding homes for between fifteen and fifty kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs every week.

The DuPage Dragons are in the middle of a nine-game homestand.  Tickets start at $6 with kids five and under admitted free.  Group rates are available by calling the Dragons’ ticket office at 630-241-2255.
