June 23, 2008 | LISLE, IL The DuPage Dragons are pleased to announce that Alex Brown of our hometown football team, the Chicago Bears, will be joining us in attendance for Wednesday nights game. Alex is hosting a football camp at Benedictine University through the upcoming week and on Wednesday night he will be in attendance as well as throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
Wednesday night’s first pitch is slated for 7:05 pm. The gates will open at 6:05 pm. The Dragons play host to the Springfield Sliders, who currently sit atop the standings of the CICL. The Dragons enter Wednesday night’s game with a record of 7 wins and 6 losses, which puts them in a tie for second place in the CICL.
