June 28th, 2009 | Lisle, IL - The Dragons sent Bryan Roberts, (Lisle, IL/University of Illinois), to the mound against the Quincy Gems Saturday night, looking to break a 2-game losing streak.  Roberts looked very good through the first two innings, striking out two, and not allowing a run.  Greg Stolzenburg, (St. Charles, IL/Elgin Community College), would single, and advance to 2nd on the throwing error from Gems 1st baseman John Myers to start the Dragons half of the inning. June 26th, 2009 | Lisle, IL - The Dupage Dragons sent Brad Riegler (Downers Grove/UIC) to the mound in hopes of improving to 10-8 in a showdown of both East and West Division teams.  Riegler allowed base runner Derek Carr to advance to third on a wild pitch, and a sacrifice fly to center would put the Sliders ahead 1-0 heading into the Dragons half of the inning. Adam Davis (Driscoll Catholic, Bloomingdale, IL) earned All-Area and All-State accolades by the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, and Daily Herald in 2007, along with being named Suburban Catholic Player of the Year in 2008.
